I agree with Don. Also, keep in mind that the solution for Pine Sol is very different now. The original Pine-Sol was some powerful stuff; maybe that one would do the trick.
I doubt the version you find today at Walmart even comes close to it.
The problem is the term "craft paint." That is a pretty loose term. If it is acrylic, then yes, Pine Sol will probably work. For real (solvent) enamel, I doubt it.

I was in the craft paint section at Hobby Lobby last week and two old ladies told me that back in the 80's when kiln fired ceramics were popular they would clean craft paint off their brushes by mixing a mild solution of water and Pine Sol. They said it cleaned them very well and kept the bristles pliant and soft.
Anyone ever hear of this?
