Aztek Delux Resin Airbrush Set instructions?
Posted by smeagol the vile on Saturday, October 8, 2011 4:52 PM

Hey, I was amazingly lucky and was able to pick up this airbrush, 99% complete, just missing one bottle cap and the compressor adapter, for 5$ today.

It was missing the instructions though, does anyone happen to have them?

I don't have the manual, but here's a thread started by someone with the same problem.  Please let us know how you like the brush.

I've got the A7778, and I'm sure it's not much different.  I'll see if I can find the instruction booklet.  There really isn't much to it, though.  Set the roller at the back for the max paint outflow you want, stick a needle cartridge in for your desired size / paint coverage, stick a paint cup in, fill and spray.

Thats the thing, this is my first Aztek and I have no idea how it works, where the cup goes, how to put in the needle, etc etc.  Also its missing apparently one part and I want to see if there is a parts list so I can order the correct part.

See my post last year. There are 2 links in the message that should help you out.

You may also PM El Taino for help. He is a devoted Aztek user. Good luck with the Aztek.

They emailed me the PDF of the instructions when I contacted them, quite nice of them.  Turns out the piece that is missing is only a odd wrench like thing meant for helping you get the different nozzles off.

All I need to do is go buy an hose that fits this AB and Ill be good to go!

You can get an adapter to fit standard 1/8"  Iwata hoses.

Is that an adapter that goes onto the compressor end or the airbrush end?

I have a Badger AB right now and the hose's female end for the AB end is just a bit bigger then the Aztek's male end.

That adapter connects an Aztek airbrush to an Iwata type hose.  I don't know of an adapter for the Aztek that mates with a Badger hose. You could get an adapter for the Badger airbrush to an Iwata hose, and use an Iwata hose for both airbrushes.  TCP Global could probably help you with that.  You might want to give them a call.

I'm probably just going to buy a Aztek hose, it will be easier then buying and keeping track of a bunch of adapters and whatnot, an adapter is easy to loose, a hose is not.
