Cleaning can be a bit involved compared to the Aztek, but not by all that much. I haven't had the tip fall off (Iwata cleaning pot), but I try to be pretty careful sticking the brush up against the rubber grommet.
For cleaning between colors, I keep the second paint cup standing by for use spraying cleaner/solvent. I'll spray or dump what's left in the cup, put some windex or 'green' lacquer thinner ($6 for a big can at Home Depot) in the paint cup depending on water acrylic vs. Mr Color and spray that to get the cup 'mostly' clean, then switch it out for the clean cup and spray pure windex/thinner through it. That cleans the brush well enough for the next color. Then I'll quickly take the paint cup over to my secondary wet cleaning station (otherwise known as the bathroom sink), and run an old toothbrush around it with more cleaner/solvent, then run the nylon pipe brush through the connector (I've got the side-mount Grex, not the top). At this point the paint cup can be re-attached and painting resumes.
Once all painting is done I follow the above steps again, but I also pay a lot of attention to the paint cup outer threads, brush inner threads, clean any paint film from the cap edges, and be a bit more thorough using the pipe cleaner. Then slip the needle out of the brush, clean it, and apply a little bit of aero lube.
Sounds like a lot, but I've got the 'between colors' clean down to about 3 minutes, and the final clean to about 7-8 minutes. Well, well worth the spray quality and trigger control. Just picking it up brings a smile to my face, so keeping it clean seems hardly a chore.
