montague My Iwata HP-CS has had it. Do I get the Evolution 2 in 1 Airbrush or the Badger Krome? I want the best performance, Least overspray, best results.

denstore Almost dangerous to ask that question here! Personally, I would say none of them. I would probably recommend you to buy a HP-B+ or BH instead.

I am not a skillful airbrush artist who knows how a detail airbrush would work. I have the HP-CS, Krome and the Evolution Solo. They are all fine airbrushes for modeling and more performance than I need. Well balanced body, smooth trigger with lone linear action and fine atomization. But they are in the same class of performance as Denstore said. (The H&S may have a small edge in tighter pattern, but not much.) They all can use pre-set handle to draw fine lines. It is optional on the CS and Evolution, but standard on the Krome. The preset will not help overspray pattern.
If the high end Iwata's are too expensive for you, you may also want to look at the Badger SOTAR 20/20 with the Ultra Fine needle. A $400 MSRP airbrush that can be found for under $100. I don't know anything about this site, but the SOTAR price sure looks great.
Better an airbrush in the hand, than ten in the car....
