You could try soaking it overnight in Super Clean degreaser and scrub with an old toothbrush.

not much without damaging the plastic.

Why not just sand and polish it to a smooth finish instead of trying to strip it all off?

What will strip off metalizer and lacquer based primer off a model?  Please Help!!!!
