AK Interactive Odorless Thinner
Posted by Chazzer on Saturday, November 19, 2011 11:53 AM

Hello all, I want to bring to your attention of a possible problem with AK Interactive odorless thinner. I tried mixing the thinner with Testors Rubber enamel paint in the small jar with poor results. The thinner separated and the paint clumped up. I retried with the same results. I tried switching enamels with the same poor results. I'm not sure if it was a bad bottle of thinner (which I have never heard of).

I feel it prudent to let you all know about this potential problem. Has anyone had a similar result? I have used it with AKs enamel washes with no problems.

It might be formulated for use only with their brand of paint.

Give it a try with a common color like black or white or anything you have for that matter.

Maybe there is something in that rubber paint that does not break down well in that thinner.
