Thanks iraqiwildman.I saw that in the Q & A, but they didn't mention what grades are best for what task. Thanks for answering that. keith r.

Ditto on using 500 to replicate cast texture. Did this on two tanks I was working on in September:

On the Bench: 1/32 Trumpeter P-47 | 1/32 Hasegawa Bf 109G | 1/144 Eduard MiG-21MF x2

On Deck:  1/350 HMS Dreadnought

Use the 500 and stipple it on with a brush. There is an article in the lastest FSM magazine on how to use this stuff.

Of the differant  Mr.Surfacer grades,500,1000,1200 & whatever others they might have,What's the best for replicating cast iron surfaces.Such as on Shermans & T-34's ?.I seem to remember reading somewhere it  can be airbrushed, but if it has ingredients that give it texture, don't you have clogging problems ? Thanks, Keith R.
