White haze
Posted by gpal on Saturday, December 31, 2011 12:44 PM

I did something wrong, after spraying the model with 25% X21 flat base and 75% future it has a slight white haze to it. Can I re-spray future to it with less X21 after a few hours to gloss it up a bit?

Thanks, George

Not guaranteed, but I would think so. I've never really added more than 10% flat base & at 10% it's pretty flat, be sure that the flat base itself if properly mixed.

If you happen to be spraying in a moist or cold environment, "Bloom" can occur & it may be causing what you are experiencing....................

With that title I thought this was about another subject......Horticulture in particular! Big Smile

Let us know how it turns out.

I resprayed with straight future and all is well. And yes the titles and names involved here are rather peculiar to someone that did not we were talking modelling, huh?

Thanks, George
