take the two screws out from bottom, push in clips and lift off cover.
1 now you can hook up any size fitting to end of plastic hose.
then you can use other airbrushes with this.
2 file down clips but leave straight part
because cover may need to be taken on and off a few times.
cover acts as clamp for motor and hose fitting.
i took it off to see if i could quiet it down.no deal!
