So this is the first thing ive completed this year. Its not exactly model related. But hey, i want to show it off. I think it fits here since this is the "Painting" Forum lol. 

Its a commission for my mum. Its called Pour ma mère.

Oils on stretched canvas.

Cool! I had taken art classes all through high school & beyond (graphic designer now), but had never touched oils. What scale are those Swallows?? Whistling

Big swallow is about 1/4 scale (theyre really little here) and the other is smaller again lol.

I like it.  It has a nice oriental fell to me.  Even with the warm color scheme, it still feel s tranquil.
