No, It's the Future; I double checked.  However, I understand that I'm looking through 1-2 inches of Future when a finished model will have a few micrometers of Future covering it.  In the end, a model probably won't look yellow even if it's 100% snow white.  I assume it's like how swimming pools look blue, but if you took a glass of the pool water, it would look perfectly clear with no tint of blue.

I just though I'd make my previous post as an FYI.

I think youll find its actually the bottle thats yellowing, not the liquid inside it. ive encountered the same problem. Looks yellow in the bottle. but is actually krystal klear (see what i did there? huh? huh? lol)

I have had a bottle of Future sitting under my sink for the past 3-4 years.  It has started to yellow.

Future has an additive which prevents it from yellowing. Just think how pissed off a house wife would be if her floors yellowed. Yellowing is caused by two things, UV light and chemicals in the air. Future deters both. Yes, eventually everything breaks down, but you won't see it happening for a long long time unless...you subject your models to cigarette smoke and prolonged exposure to direct UV light.

Hi,

I think you mean Future floor polish; it's a clear acrylic polymer, not a wax. I think it would be hard to tell if it yellowed with age when applied over colors but I have a GeeBee painted white/red that I built many years ago and used Future for a gloss coat. There's no evidence of yellowing on the white. So, my limited experience is it doesn't turn perceptibly yellow with time. Limited experience though.

Anybody know if I shoot Future wax as a final clear coat, will it turn yellow over time?
