I've used spray cans before (not for AFV modeling). Their spray patterns were wide. That's why I'm worried about using spray primers...

I don't know what the size of a spray can nozzle is, but it's all use to prime my models (1/350AFV's).  I use Rust-o-leum  Automobile Primer, Light Gray. I've never had any problems with it.  It gives a nice coat, with no obscuring of details.  Hope this helps

Spray can primer vs. AB primer

What is a typical nozzle size of a spray can primer? A spray can primer will make my life easier than using an AB for priming. However, I don't think can deal with a nozzle size bigger than, say, 1 mm. FYI, I build only 1/35 AFVs.
