Weathering Sequence

So I have put an acrylic base coat down, followed by an acrylic clear coat, enamel drybrushing, enamel filter...Do I need to put a clear coat down before I move on to oils? Or can I do oil streaking/staining without it having adverse effects on the enamel based filter already put down?

I would clearcote the enamel before moving onto artist oils w/ turps.  It'll keep from softening the enamel.

Because of that, I generally do any washes before I drybrush any enamels.
