Green Tint in Tamiya Dark Yellow?
Posted by Chrisk-k on Sunday, February 19, 2012 3:52 PM

Yesterday I did an initial test of ABing Tamiya Dark Yellow acrylic paint.  It has a green tint. It's not very noticeable but it's there.

Is the green tint a part of German Dark Yellow? If not, what would be a good way to eliminate it? Thinning, adding white, red, or brown?

Mix Tamiya's Dark Yellow 50/50 with XF-55 Deck Tan. It makes it lighter and warmer without the starkness that happens when you add white.

I have a bottle of Deck Tan. Will experiment with it.
