                        Is anyone using Vallejo spray top coats? I want to order Vallejo glossy and matte top coats and noticed that those also come in spray cans, which will make my life easier. Those top coats are acrylic, so I won't need to worry about them eating acrylic base coats.

                        I have used Vallejo clear coats and have been happy with them.I have not seen them in a can yet .I airbrushed the ones in the small bottles though.

                        Thanks. The can versions are available at some online stores (eg, thewarstore). I'll order them.

                        Are the can versions acrylic too?

                        Sorry about the confusion. I visited Vallejo's web site and carefully read the description. The can version is solvent based. It's not acrylic.

                        Vallejo directly gave me the answer.  I was wrong to assume that solvent-based = lacquer.

                        It’s an acrylic.
