Handpainting Vallejo ModelAir or airbrushing ModelColor?
Posted by Unreality on Tuesday, March 6, 2012 10:51 PM

Has anyone tried airbrushing with the Model Color line and/or hand-painting with the Model Air line? I know they work excellently for their specified uses, but I kinda want to cut out on some costs for myself, and not having to buy 2 of every paint would really help.

Also, curious if anyone has used the Golden Airbrush medium with either Vallejo line?

Thanks in advance.

Yes, you can airbrush MC and hand-brush MA.

I usually add either Glaze or Matt medium about 50/50 to the model color then add their thinner to get the right consistency.
