Scott,,,,  also glad you got it functioning

My H model has been my mainstay for 30+ years. Other than a few new tips, it works great for almost every job I have ever tackled.

Enjoy!

Glad to hear you got it working!

Nothing more frustrating and disappointing than when you buy something and you can't get it to work as well as you'd hoped.

Thats A press fit on the H. That was also my first airbrush. The first time I used the aircans that came with the kit and was very dissapointed until I picked up a little Sears compresser and it worked great. Great that you figured it out.

Ok,

Was very excited to get my new Paasche H today, but while I haven't tried it yet I noticed some that concerns

me. When I put the bottle and cup in the A/B they very easily fell out.

So now I'm wondering was this a mistake or should I have gotten the HS model with the mounting nut?

Thanks in advance....

Scott

This seems like such a flawed design even though every siphon feed airbrush I've ever used/seen uses  this same connection. However, I'm sure someone by now would have come up with a locking mechanism if were really a serious problem.

Welcome!  I'm glad you got it working.

That was my first brush.  I used it until it fell apart.

Thanks, guys. Took both your advices and mainly gave it a little push and twist and it seated much better.

Thanks Again.

Also, give the cup a small twist when you insert it.

I have the H and it's a great little brush.

The bottle and cup should easily be held in the bottom of the tip.  Try using a bit more pressure to secure it - i've never had issues with it coming out easily.

If both are falling out, it's got to be the tip.  Just make sure you don't have anything jammed in there.  Also, try another sized tip and see how they fit.

If you have a dud, perhaps take back/write to Paasche - tips are easily replaced, but you shouldn't have to pay if it's a faulty model.
