yes

clear gloss on top of your paint-job

use a solution like microset blue bottle 1st

put down your decal-wait, then a little micro-sol red bottle, helps to snug the decal down,

when dry, cover with a flat or glossy seal, whatever your model calls for

Hello everyone, I'm using Tamiya paints X and XF series for an aircraft carrier, however when I get to the point of applying the decals on the main deck is it a good idea to apply some clear gloss coat or what should I do to minimize the risk of loosing the decals, what king of technique should I use to apply the decals?
