Nothing wrong with the Aztek it's what I have what I'm use to what I'll stick with. I got the A 4709

if you have problems you can ship it back and if they can't fix it, they will replace it free as long as it's still under warranty.

If you purchased the A4709 today, you get only 3 years of warranty. Yes, it is true that you will have a life time warranty if the airbrush is at least 8-10 years old. (Aztec has a time stamp on the airbrush body to prove the date of manufacturing.)

I had the A4709 for a while. It has a light weight plastic body. When you lay it side by side with any of the Iwata, H&S, Paasche or Badger, the quality of the Aztec is just not there. Besides, it is expensive for what you get. Aztec does have a new all metallic model, but even more expensive. Not sure if the contruction quality improved or not.

I just got a H&S Evolution and love it. Very high quality. Very easy to clean and maintain. Easy to use. Worth every cent you pay for it.

There is a reason very few artists use this airbrush but if you like it then more power to you.

You do go thru thinner tho when cleaning it but it's easier to clean

Any good double-action airbrush is easy to clean.

Buy a Badger, they have a lifetime warranty, are made entirely in the USA and their customer service is the best period.

only other thing is don't over tighten the wheel at the back  you can damage it, probably it's one weak point.

But if your heavy handed then maybe you need to look at the other airbrushes as you can't be heavy handed with it.

That is why I recommend people buy an airbrush and not a toy. Stick out tongue Wink

Don't waste your money, buy a real airbrush and you won't have near as many problems. 2 cents

Second.

I had an Aztec A4709 for a month 3 years ago. Exchanged it for Iwata Eclipse HP-CS and never looked back.

Hi,

Does anyone have any opinions on Azxtek dual action airbrushes in terms of quality and ease of use?

Also, if anyone can direct me to reviews on Aztek airbrushes it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanx

Itz
