Will, consider building your own spray booth.  Lots of folks do it.  My first couple were cardboard boxes with a muffin fan and an auto air filter.  My latest one- several years old- is a keeper.  I use a cheap furnace filter and the box is made from particle board.  Same muffin fan.

Will,

Great to hear of the improvement to your modelling!  I don't have a paint booth, but would one day like to invest in one.

I hear the Krome is a pretty good a/b - no doubt the difference from rattle cans must be substantial.

I've only been into modeling now for a few years. About a year ago I bought a Badger Krome airbrush. But since the only place I could use it was in the basement I didn’t use it much. About a month ago I was searching Craigslist and came across a brand new Peace Keeper 36" spray paint booth. What a game changer. I can paint with the Krome now; all the fumes are vented outside. I can come upstairs and the wife and dogs aren’t stoned on paint fumes.

The difference in the models going from rattle cans to airbrush is night and day. I’m stoked about the possibilities!
