life color paints

I have to agree with Doogs on this one.  I have not found an easy way to airbrush Lifecolor paints.  I have tried Tamiya thinner, water and their own thinner but it still goes on watery.  I have been able to get some decent finishes, however, like Doog's says it covers itself better than the surface.

Lifecolor has great colors for Russian armor so I haven't quite given up yet.  Any tips on how airbrush this paint more easily would be appreciated.

I'll be a dissenting voice. I don't find the stuff easy to spray at all. With tap water, it goes on extremely thin and, like water, is very fast to spider and run. I've achieved some solid results using a mix of Future and Windex, or Testors acrylic thinner. But the paint still goes on very thin, and covers itself much better than it covers bare or primered surfaces. It's also prone to lifting under tape.

That said...did the base gray on this Pz.III with Lifecolor and was happy as a clam with it.

I used the Isreali Sand Gray UA20 for my last build,it thinned with tap water and went on and covered great !!

Can't say for armor but I just used their RLM 65 for my BF-109.  No complaints.  Nice and thin and covered well.
