If you are  gonna mix paint types- enamels/acrylics, you should give at least a day between colors to allow them to dry and cure before adding the next color. They occasionally have some sort of negative interaction of paint types. If using the same type of paint- acrylic/acrylic, enamel/enamel, but diferent brands, usually if the paint is dry to the touch, it is safe to apply the next color. Of course since some paints dry at different rates this will vary your time frame.

Painting one brand over another?!

Hi all.

Ive had problems with spraying pollyscale acrylic clear over humbrol enamels before. Just need to know if there would be any problems caused by painting the different colours of a camo scheme with different brands of paint  over one another - tamiya, model master and maybe humbrol enamels to be a little more precise.

Thanks for your help.
