I picked up a package of these off Amazon a few months ago and they have been worth their weight in gold. I use regular drinking straws to drip the paint into the cup. $2.99 for 100 cups, and $1 usually for 100 straws at the local grocery store. I'd say a well spent $3.

"Some say the alien didn't die in the crash. It survived and drank whiskey and played poker with the locals 'til the Texas Rangers caught wind of it and shot it dead."
Never thought about counting the drops as a % ... Sounds like a great idea, I'll try it. Thanks everyone.
Yeah...and you can use an old paint jar or something similar to store a large batch of the color mixture you create if you know that you will need it several times throughout your build. That way you don't have to worry about getting the color right every time you mix it.
There's a restaurant that I go to that gives these little single serving jars of syrup. I save the jars and use them to store paint. I also use one to store lacquer thinner from Home Depot. Its so easy to use instead of the big can.

Fly-n-hi Bick I use glass eye droppers from the drugstore and count drops and write down the numbers so I can repeat it later if I need that color mix again. That's exactly what I do. Great minds think alike.

Yep!
Nickg, if you want to try eye droppers, just count 8 drops of color A, 2 drops of color B then 10 drops of thinner and you should have a mix that will airbrush nicely and be the correct color (and you can easily remix later if you need to).
Fly-n-hi I just get eye droppers at Walgreens.

I've been playing/experimenting with craft acrylics and often need to mix colors to get close to what I want. I use glass eye droppers from the drugstore and count drops and write down the numbers so I can repeat it later if I need that color mix again.
Thanks, will look it up
Big fan of pipettes myself. TCP Global sells them by the hundred-count for like $12. Anything beyond about 25% increments becomes imprecise, but good enough for government work

If you really need to be that precise, you might want to try pipettes. I don't use them myself, but i know a lot of others do.

I'm a beginner with plastc kit models so sorry if this is a nieve question. How do you mix 80% of one color and 20% of another . If the paint comes in small bottles, what technique do you use to get the correct %.
