hey all.  I'm sure this has been asked here before but was curious.  i was woundering if i can use primer that can be bought at my local ACE Hardware store???  if so what brand??  I'm looking at spray cans.  like the brand rustoleum or what?

If you want to use a spray can primer then I recommend Krylon. I have always found that rustoleum products take a long time to dry.

I'm another Krylon user. It was recommended in rec.models.com for those of you that remember Usenet newsgroups.  It has changed a bit since then- not quite as good but still a good, full-bodied primer that works over any base material.
