Airbrushing with Vallejo paints

You can thin them with destilled water up to a certain point, but after that you need to extend the binder. My guess is that their own thinner is exactly this. A mix containing water, acrylic binder and a splash of retarder. I make my own cocktail with those ingredients, and it works pretty nice. Destilled water, Liquitex airbrush medium, some flow aid and a splash of retarder.

Appreciate the info, I'll have to look for the thinner.

I use the same thinner for Model Air, and Model Color, Panzer Aces,,,,,,,I also use it in their Game Color paints, but, those are soooo thick that I use a lot more of it when using Tinny Tin, etc,,,,,,,since I use 4 different ranges of Vallejo paint, with the same thinner,,,,,,,,the ratio varies all over the place

they have their own thinner,,,,,,I use that, along with a drop or two of Flow Medium

the bottle number I have is #061, it is 32 Mil (about 1 ounce),,,,,and has additional binders so that the thinned paint won't get diluted, just made thinner,,,,,,,,,,,,it looks like extremely thin white glue when you drop it out of the bottle, don't worry, that is the normal look for this stuff
