Yes, those are for industrial applications. Make sure not to use one with an oil lubricator for airbrushing!
Gimme a pigfoot, and a bottle of beer...
i know some about regulators and water bowls...from my experience its the type of valve that comes with the complete unit...there are two types wet and dry...this meens one is a capture bowl while the other is a lubricator....capture bowls are for the need of dry air for brakes pnuematic indexers....while lubricators are filled with the proper oils for the applicationand uses include hydraulic actuators....some regulators are for air while others are for fluids.A air regulator consists of a tighter and more secure valve gate while the fluid regulator is not....think "Density"
Does this make sense
I just bought a regulator from the Home Depot, it works freat and cost about $20 and came with a gauge. The only thing to avoid, so I have been told is Central Pneumatic.
I bought my last set from Menards, a building supply place popular in the Midwest. I think I paid $20.

Chuck,
I've ordered/bought from MSC (Manhattan Supply Company) many times. They are a large tool and machinery seller and very reliable. Their full catalog is about 3 inches thick with machinery items. Not a risk if they have something you want/need.
Also anyone interested can try Coast airbrush. I've used them before and they have lots of items/parts and are reliable to order from.
Several people have recently asked where they might get an air regulator/gauge to attach to an existing airbrush setup.
A random unsolicited catalog was recently delivered to me by a company called "MSC". See www.mscdirect.com
They have three different size regulators/gauges/filter combos made by "Jupiter Pneumatics."
Miniature: $24.99
Compact: $32.99
Standard: $64.99
I would think the "miniature" would be good for airbrush use, and the price is right! Port size is 1/4" NPT and rating is 20 SCFM.
