Somehow I got my hands on a thin masking tape (6mm) that looks like Tamiya but is made by Stuk and is called Precision Masking Tape - it comes in other hobby sizes. And it works good - low on tack but excellent at stopping bleeding. For the life of me, I can't remember where I bought it and Google fails me. Any help?
A model boat is much cheaper than a real one and won't sink with you in it.
Hi EB
Have a look HERE. You could email them for distributors.

I suppose I could try Frog tape too. I did email Stuk's webs site - it didn't seem to list any hobby tapes on the site, all much larger representatives of "precision" series was there. Found one model site in the UK that had just started selling it the modelling stuff. Unfortunately ecommerce with some UK sites is an adventure so I don't know if I bought anything or not. It's different from Tamiya even though it's a spitting image and I liked it a lot.

Just bought 40mm Precision Tape for modelling at W.Boyes and Co .Go to www.boyes.co.uk for all store addresses. My local one stocks full range of Humbrol and Vallejo paints and other accessories. I understand a few selected stores are stocking a full range of kits. With luck one may be near you.
