My airbrushes

Hi Greg, I just checked the box and I have the fine tip on the 100SG but it does well for me..from relatively close tight work to a good solid,wide (if relatively brief) spray. I use it more than the 155 in most of my projects.

I have used the Badger 100SG as well..very good airbrush. Do you have the fine tip installed or the medium for your needs? I found that for finishing some of my small 1/72nd scale aircraft, the medium (M) tip head assemble worked excellent.

Hi everyone, I'm totally new at this forum thing so I hope this gets posted..and then hope I can find it. One airbrush that never gets mentioned is the badger 100SG. It has a very small reservoir built into the body of the brush...10-12 drops..but is incredibly useful. I have shot everything from water based to lacquer based paints, ammonia, Windex, Future and it has never let me down. For many things the small reservoir is no problem..in fact in some ways it a a definite benefit. I build a lot of cars and Tamiya bikes that have many small parts with multiple colors that require very little paint so this is ideal. And with the price of Alclad it is a very economical airbrush since you can dispense only the 10-12 drops and since it is a gravity feed very little , if any, gets wasted. Very easy to clean out too. I have shot several colors of water based paint followed by lacquer based in one session with out problems. For bigger jobs i use my Badger Anthem 155 which is great also. Check it out.

Hi Hoser.

The male quick connects on the airbrushes above were on them already when they were sent to me, but most online companies sell them seperately.
I saw them at Coast Airbrush's web site for $6.

Mike, where did you get the male quick connects? I have a scource for the hose w/ the female end and one male but don't want to keep buying the complete set just for the male ends.

They are, left to right: T&C Vega 1000 with Omni handle, T&C Vega 2000 with Omni handle, Badger 150, Badger 360, Badger Anthem, T&C (Badger) Omni 3000 (Scooter Shooter), T&C (Badger) Omni 4000.
The Vega's were both made by Thayer & Chandler back when they were still in business before Badger took them over.
It was kind of sad to see Thayer & Chandler go out of business as they were the first production airbrush company in the world. They are of course in good hands with Badger owning them though and that was great news when I heard they picked up the T&C production line.
The "Scooter Shooter" is a "hot-rodded" model that has a few customizations on it that my friend Scooter has Badger do to it for him, including a stiffer trigger spring so that the trigger returns faster for smoother dagger strokes.

All of the Badgers in the middle have the male quick-connects on them which I really like and am never going to go back to a regular hose again. It is nice to be able to rotate the airbrush without the hose rotating with it.

I was told by my connection earlier today to keep the airbrushes I tested if I liked them, which I did very much. So now I am the owner of all of these beautiful airbrushes
I sprayed the intakes of my F-15E today with the Badger 360 and it came out pretty good. The balance is really nice on all of these airbrushes and especially the Anthem, 360 and Omni's.

Well, I don't know that much about airbrush since i'm about to purchase my first one....but, from a newbie point of view... that's a nice set you have there Mike V. I can't wait to get my and on one of these...

Which models are which? I can spot the 360 easily enough, but I can't tell the rest apart that well.

They all look to be in great shape.
