While many of my modeling friends say you can cover acrylics with lacquer when it is fully dry, I also have had problems in the past, so I prefer not to use lacquers on acrylics.  I have, however, used Alclad over black acrylics with no problem.

Testors Laquer clear matt

This is the second tank I've sprayed with the above and has darkened the colour. Am I doing something wrong or is there another clear matt on the market that won't do this?

I should mention, The colour was Tamiya XF59 dessert yellow, dark green and wood brown camo . The clear has not effected the darker colours probable because of that reason.

If I re-sprayed with the matt and added a drop of white would this fix the problem.

Cheers Leo
