i bought a new nozzle and needle and it still did it.

iv completely stripped it and cleaned 4 times now and atm its behaving itself

Is it a real Iwata or an Iwata knock-off?

Did you miss any part when comparing to the parts diagram?

it spits water havnt tried pure thinner it is spraying now but its not right

No need to try thinner. It sounds like a damaged nozzle or needle. Or improperly assembled airbrush.

What Iwata do you have?

How do you know it's not the paint? If it won't flow and it's spitting out blobs the paint may well be too thick. Can it pass just thinner fine?

From there, start troubleshooting. Is it the paint channel between the cup and the nozzle? Sometimes that can get clogged up.

If the needle and nozzle are new, they should be fine.

What about the nozzle cap? It's just as important as it's where the air flows and if it's not flowing properly it'll have trouble drawing the paint along with it. I've had that happen - not on an Iwata but a Harder & Steenbeck - but it was literrally a tiny smidge of paint in the nozzle cap itself that was borking everything up.

im stuck iv just fitted a new nozzle and needle but it still spits blobs of paint out and wont flow much at all at my normal pressure (15-20 psi).

its not the paint causing it and theres no moisture in it
