Thanks Greg . I'm still trying to work my way through the places and forums into where to put things , I posted an early start photo's in the wrong forum , and made a right *** up of things (oz for mistake )

I understand what you mean by wear marks /scuffs in traffic areas I haven,t got the know how , on how to do it , as yet, but I will!  I've not long been doing this and I just have basic gear " not flash at all "  but  yes enjoying

RAAF ,  Singapore/malaya markings

Love your buffalo!

I'm not sure whether you've posted this one before, since you made no mention of kit or scale, but whatever it is, for a freehand airbrush camouflage scheme (2nd or 100th), that looks great. Nice even coverage and tight lines, well done!

My suggestion for the chipping is more placement than quantity. Chipping, and wear in general, seems to follow patterns. Even good black & white photos of WW2 birds will give a good idea of what these areas look like. Areas where ground crew walk on th aircraft, areas around access panels and fuel fillers, and sometimes even the cockpit entry edges seem to get paint rubbed off and chipped away first. You could try drybrushing a little silver or dull aluminum around those areas, or pick up a silver pencil at an art supply or craft store and experiment with that.

All meant as positive, however. It's great that you're sharing your build, and I can tell from your posts you're enjoying it, and that's the best of all.

Looking forward to seeing how this one turns out. Have you picked out markings yet?

Greg
