Painting vinyl figure 1/6 scale need help
Posted by Irish3335 on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 6:00 PM

Just broke my screamin' 1/6 scale vinyl boba fett out and am ready to try some of the new weathering techniques on it.  I know with vinyl I have to use acrylic paint (not a big fan of) but is there a way to primer the figure so I can use my favorite humbrol enamel paints?  Also,  what is the best glue to use with it?  There are some tight spots that I'm worried super glue would just crack or be useless.  Thanks in advance for the help

Super glue will work fine, in fact I don't think you have any other choices with vinyl.

I have built several vinyl Star Trek figures.  I primed them with Tamiya Fine Scale white primer and painted the colors with acylic, but I think enamel would also work well.

Gimme a pigfoot, and a bottle of beer...
