Thank you all for the info. That's what I needed to know.

Thanks again,

Tom

I have had zero issues using the two on a build.  A word of caution though:  Alclad is tough as nails and Metalizer has a glass jaw.  If you're going to be doing a lot of masking for various shades of NMF, panels, etc. then I would encourage you to use Alclad as the base.  Metalizer just doesn't play well with masking tape.

Most of the Alclads work best over a gloss black finish, so I would not use it over a metalizer.  However, the other way around might work.

Alcads are used right from the bottle and must be airbrushed. They give a hard finish when try so you should be fine to use just about anything over  them, but as always try on a small area first just in case

Can one be sprayed over the other without problems. I've got a selection of metalizers but there a some shades available in Alclads that would be very useful also. Are the Alclads prethined for airbrushing?

Thanks,

Tom
