I hear brake fluid works well. Never tried it myself.

I HAVE USED BRAKE FLUID TO STRIP PAINT. ITS BEST TO STRIP THE PAINT AFTER ITS HAS

BEEN APPLIED IT ,WILL COME OFF.USE A TOOTH BRUSH TO SCRUB THE MODEL  WITH  THE BRAKE FLUID. IT IS MESSY BUT IT DOES WORK.

Recently had a disaster with WalMart rattle cans, so I used Super Clean degreaser (from the automotive section of WallyWorld) to strip the enamel paints. I soaked my parts overnight and then ran water over them to remove most of the paint. Stubborn areas came off with just a quick scrub with the toothbrush. It is supposedly safe enough to dispose of down the drain, but be sure to wear gloves when handling it - it tends to do funky things to bare skin after prolonged exposure!

Simple Green.  Non-Toxic.  No dangerous fumes.  Soak model overnight, use a soft toothbrush to get into the tight spots.  Depending on the number/thickness of coats, you may need to repeat.

Yeah, what Paul said...

Simple Green works but... You need to make sure you buy the undiluted SG.  Also the longer you let it soak the better, we are talking days not hours.
