Yes.  Testors airbrush thinner is quite a special formulation. I love it when I can get it in half pint cans. I don't want to pay the high price buying it in the little bottles, however.  Since I have been having trouble finding it in the cans, however, I have learned to use hardware store chemicals.

I now avoid opaque bottles/cans that merely say "paint thinner."  Some of that is real junk that is milky in appearance and has a lot of dissolved solids in it.  I hold out for "mineral spirits" or "turpentine".  Make sure the can or bottle specifically says one of the two.

Is there a difference between Testors airbrush thinner and regular paint thinner bought say at Wal-Mart useing Model Master paints?
