                        Almost nothing protects vinyl from paints.  To weather black vinyl tires I dust them lightly with flesh-colored talcum powder.

                        Try several acrylic coats on the vinyl first.

                        In prepping for weathering with glosscote or dullcote attact vinyl tires? If so what can be done to protect them?
