Polyscale or Floquil railroad equivalent of Interior Green?

I like the Floquil paint when I can find it, because it seems like the colors are less saturated than similar colors in other brands, and they look more realistic to me.  They are great paints.  I have never seen a comparison chart to other brands, however.

I love the Polyscale shades of black (Grimy Black, Engine Black, etc).  It's just nice to have a variety rather than you basic black.  

Not too long ago, I discovered the joys of Floquil silvers.  The moment I used them, I wondered why I didn't use them a long time ago.  I have truly been missing out.

I tried searching these forums because I know people have remarked how they've used other brands of paint which come close to the standard FS colors offered by the likes of Model Masters.  While I love MM paints, I love the SIZE of the Floquil and Polyscale bottles!  That's why I was hoping to see if anyone had a particular substitute for Interior Green in the Floquil or PS lines.

Yes you're exactly right.  From what I heard, Testors purchased the Floquil and Polyscale lines and are now going to discontinue them.  It's a little sad for me seeing as how I only discovered how nice their various shades of silvers are.  I'm not a hoarder but yesterday I bought a couple bottles of their Old Silver and Platinum Mist.  I'll go back in a day or two to the hobby shop and pick up some of their different shades of Polyscale blacks.

Testors discontinued the Floquil and Polly Scale military color lines. However their Railroad colors lines are still going strong. In the Enamel Floquil line I would suggest Burlington Northern green or Canadian Northern Green as possible Interior Green substitutes. It is very hard to tell off of their website chips. If you have a good idea in our mind as to what Interior Green looks like, just eyeball an appropriate match. Ther is a RR Hobby shop fairly close to my new home that is well stocked in these paints as well and I am branchng out in this direction for my paint needs.

Testors announced earlier in the week that they are discontinuing the Floquil and Polly Scale lines, as well as Pactra. They said they have no current plans to incorporate any of the railroad colors into their continuing lines such as Testors and Model Master. I've used Floquil for about 40 years, and it is excellent paint, as is the Polly Scale acrylic line. I have stocked up on the colors that i want to continue to use.

I think you are going to want something other than Burlington Northern or CN green #12

just a week before the RPM announcement, I went hunting for a good PolyScale Willow Green,,,,,I brought the two above colors home and chipped them out,,,,,,,,,CN Green #12 is just a little lighter than 14115 and Burlington Northern is close enough to 14187 Willow Green that I am going to use if for my Acrylic Willow (no one makes Willow green in Acrylics)

for 34151 Interior Green, I have PolyScale 505308 RLM 67 Dark Olive Green,,,,,,,,I didn't get that far with RR 1 oz bottles, yet,,,,,,,,,but 414376 Reading Green looks pretty close to 34151
