What color is Tamiya XF-21 (Sky)? This color is the color recommmended for some of the interior of the Tamiya Bushmaster kit. Is it a shade of light blue? I'll probably be using flat white or light grey instead if not a combo of the two.Shy [8)]

hi thereSmile [:)]
it's the colour the raf used on the underside of their aircraft during the early part of the war...a pale off white colour (not very good at describing am i??!!Tongue [:P])...polly scale's sky is a bit darker just out of interest...have no idea who is right but i trust polly scale a bit more i think!

try this link....it has a paint chart, and the sky looks pretty much as it comes out of the pot, maybe a bit darker...

Tamiya Sky is about a dead on substitute for the infamous Army color known as "Sea Foam Green." This is a light pale green that the army paints the interiors of Bradley, M113s and ambulance HMMWVs. Other manufacturers make a similar color usually called either "Sky" or "Sky Type S".

If you take a look in my motor pool, you will see the interior of Bradleys and M113s with a sea foam green interior.

Yeah, Testors makes a Sky too.

This is the color used by the RAF and FAA on the underside. RAF replaced it after 1941 with a gray. You can also use this for the mythical RLM 84 too.

It has a green tint to it. 10% of the male population has some sort of color blindness so it will appear as an off white to some.

The colour Sky is sort of a pastel green with a lot of white. Mix 3 parts XF-58 Olive with 1 Part XF-21 Sky For a good Soviet Armour Green.
