XF-56 Tamiya, what can i make this from using Testors or Model Masters? Any hints?

SoapBox [soapbox]IMHO, don't even try to match the Tam paint. Toss it out and go to MM Metalizers. Airbrush or rattle cans for large areas and, despite what it says, you CAN brush them on for small arms and buttons, etc.

Remember, if the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.

I use both, but I am doing a Tamiya model and don't have metallic grey, I was wondering if there is a way to mix other colors to achieve the XF-56. What I ended up doing was mixing Testors silver, flat dark grey, and black. Hopefully this is a realistic approximation, if not, then this kit will have it's own flava!
