Thank you all for your replies. Much appreciated and a big help.
Phil_H I think you'll want a 1/8" (f) connector at the airbrush end and a 1/4" (f) at the compressor end..

MilairjunkieYou want a hose with 1/8" BSP-P female connectors on both ends
What Milairjunkie said! I now have, use and like the H&S clear plastic hose. It doesn't kink and, for me, a mess making airbrusher, a real positive is that it is cleanable. I use acrylics and clean any drops, spills or 'oops' off the hose with Windex. But any Iwata/Grex/H&S/Chinese compatible hose will do.
You want a hose with 1/8" BSP-P female connectors on both ends - most Iwata hoses & all the Chinese hoses have what you require.
Firstly, long time FSM reader, and perhaps this question has been answered in previous posts)
I recently bought a Tamiya Hp airbrush at the Tamiya Model store in Tokyo (Disneyland for Tamiya fans btw)
I also just bought a Paasche D500Sr compressor to use it with, but not sure which hose I should pick up to get both working. I seem to recall that the Tamiya brushes are made by the same co. that makes the iwata brushes. Would an Iwata airhose work, or would it need an adapter to connect to the compressor?
Ps. am a total airbrush rookie but getting back into the hobby after many years away, and with too many kits stashed in the closet, so all comments / feedback appreciated.
Cheers!
