Hello community!
I have returned to modeling after many years away, life has a way of putting things on hold and before you know it, a large portion of it has past you buy. So many things have changed, so much to learn and re-learn. I look forward to making many new friends and building many new projects. I used to be pretty good at this, lets see if an old dog can learn some new tricks! I build mostly cars and trucks, but I've done WWII aircraft as well, a few ships, I like all of them. Anyway thanks for the opportunity to learn. I'm working on a 64 Cadillac Convertible now and I have a B17-G up next. It's gonna be fun! I'm gonna go build something now. Later! Mike

Welcome. Many (in fact, maybe most) of my modeling friends are retreads too, so I know you can learn and come up to speed. Seen it many times. I seem to be one of the few who got started early- age six or seven- and never did take a break. Modeled when in college, in AF, while raising a family in apartments. Been at it nearly seventy years now.

It's a shock to be gone so long then return to find so much different. I had about a ten year break myself and was shocked to find so much had changed, so much to learn and relearn. It's fun and can be expensive.
Welcome to the forums.
