One move you could make would be to break it down into two purchases.  Make sure the airbrush kit comes with a hose- some do and some don't.  Many compressors include regulator and water trap.  So two purchases would then give you what you need.

Airbrush kit

So I'm ready to get an airbrush and I'm very excited. But I don't want to buy an airbrush, hose, compressor, water trap etc. all separately. I'd much prefer to buy one "kit" that comes with all the above. Trouble is I have no idea how to evaluate the quality of the kits I see online. I know harbor freight isn't a great move, but I don't want to spend $400+ on a top of the line airbrush kit if I don't need something so elaborate. Please help! I'd love some suggestions!
