cleaning out airbrush

Not sure what's in the vallejo airbrush cleaner, but when applied neat it works like a charm.  I cut it 50 50 with water for color changes, though, just for economy.  Don't use anything with alcohol for vallejo, their paints hate it as John087 found.

Would Testors Universal Acrylic thinner work on Vallejo paints?

alcohol does gum up vallejo, Gern.  Vallejo sell their own airbrush cleaner which works very well for acrylics, though it is expensive.  Windex also works for vallejo, but not amazingly in my experience.  

Just use windex straight. Alcohol doesn't paly nice with some paint. Why are you wary of Windex?

Doesn't iso gum up vallejo acrylics though?

I use windex and ISO to clean out my AB.  If it needs a thorough cleaning I have an ultrasonic cleaner for that.  

Depends on the paint.  For enamel I use hardware store thinner. I much prefer real mineral spirits or turpentine. I make sure the can says one or the other. It is a lot cheaper than isopropyl sold at drug store.

For acrylics, windex or iso are both okay.  You can get stronger than 91%  I bought a big bottle of 94%

Many people use Windex to clean an airbrush. But it can depend what your spraying, is it enamels or acrylic?
