You also have to consider that the compressor will only be on a few minutes a day. And probably not everyday! Very unlike a light bulb.

Thanks. I doubt she'll notice it either, but she's a bit "technically challenged" and so obviously her first question was "what wattage is that, how much will it cost!!".
The compressor is 1/6hp. That converts to about 124 watts, a little more than a 100 w light bulb.
I doubt whether she will notice it on the electric bill.

Just received my KMS AS186 airbrush. I'm wondering though what wattage do they run at, I can't find any info online and the manual doesn't include that?
My mother is concerned (unnecessarily I think) about the electric bill...
