Vallejo paint and Universal Acrylic thinner question

Will Vallejo paint work well with Testors Universal Acrylic Thinner for airbrushing?

Distilled water works just fine for me.

Vallejo acrylics are water based.  I do have Vallejo thinner, but distilled water works as good as the thinner.

I mixed some Universal Testors with some Vallejo in a pocket in my paint palette to test it for you,,,,,,based on how it is behaving with the "is it thinned right?" test, I don't want to put it through the airbrush

It is not staying behind on the bottle side like it should

the Testors thinner is designed to work with paint ranges that CAN have alcohol in their thinner, and Vallejo/Italeri CANNOT have any alcohol in their thinners

I wouldn't recommend putting this combo through your airbrush,,,,,Alcohol+Vallejo Goo is hard to get back out of there, especially if you miss a spot and it hardens in

almost gone

Yep. Vallejo/Italeri + alcohol = a HUGE MESS.

Even tap water does the job for me with Vallejo

That's the answer I'm looking for. Thanks! I certainly don't want to deal with my airbrush getting all gummed up or worse. Doesn't hurt to pick up a bottle of Vallejo thinner at Hobby Lobby since I do have a 40% coupon anyways.

The thinner I bought at Hobby Lobby is Vallejo Thinner Medium. I am assuming this is safe to thin Vallejo paint for airbrush use.(?) Either way, I am going to test it using water and the thinner medium.

If anyone can chime in for a little insight on this Thinner Medium product and explain how it's used and so forth, it would be much appreciated.
