The G-22 has a .3mm nozzle compared to the Anthem's .76mm. And, there is a similar difference in the size of the openings where air comes out. So, for a given pressure you will feel more air flow from the Anthem. It is normal to get some drop on the pressure gauge when the trigger is depressed, and the Anthem will cause a larger drop because of the increase in air flow.
tetraodon and on each brush with the trigger depressed i can only get a certain pressure, am i doing something wrong or reading the gauge incorrectly?

You don't say what the certain pressure is. But, with your compressor I would expect to be able to set the pressure as high as 30psi with either of your airbrushes. 15 to 20psi will probably work fine for both.

I don't know for sure but it might have something to do with the AB nozzle. Is the new AB nozzle smaller? That might explain the differences.

so im not new to airbrushes but for christmas i got an airbrush kit from tcp global, and the airbrush was a g22 and a tc 20 compressor so i hooked it up and had some fun. anyway i tried out the g22 and noticed on the pressure gauge, it read a higher pressure than with my anthem, but the air flow at the tip felt lower, and it was the opposite with my anthem, pressure felt higher at the tip with a lower reading at the gage, is this normal? and on each brush with the trigger depressed i can only get a certain pressure, am i doing something wrong or reading the gauge incorrectly? im not new to airbrushes but ive only used a blue ice compressor so i never delt with pressure.
