Howdy.  The Badger 155 is a very good airbrush.  I have one and I like it a lot.  I actually have several badgers.  Parts are easy to find and its fairly forgiving making it a good beginners airbrush.

For general modeling purpose, you may want to upgrade it to Badger 3155. You can get the parts for the upgrade for $15.

The choice of an airbrush is quite personal. Some modelers can do wonders no matter what airbrush they use. I am not very artistic and my modeling skill is limited. Therefore, I perfer airbrushes with a long gentle linear stroke of the trigger and can airbrush in fine misty coats to build the color. The Badger Krome meets my expectation and the Badger Patriot Fine does not.
