just bought a badger 155 dual action air brush with a testros ac55 compressor i played with it alittle and i think i can work with this. operating it wont be hard, i think i need to learn how to mix paints better. is  it based on how you want the paint job to look?

I find the paint job always looks better with multiple coats using misty spray layers. It needs a 1:1 to 2:1 thinner to paint ratio in general depending on the paint you use. You have to experiment to find the right mix for you.

Paint mixing could stand a whole book.  Flats are different than gloss, enamels different than acrylics.

Final coat may allow more thinner than first few coats.

You can always add another layer of a paint, but it's difficult to remove a paint. So, thin the paint and build coats.

I use Plastic Prep to clean the kit before airbrushing and wear latex gloves when airbrushing.
