Thanks guys! Salty dog your Ratio worked like a champ for Zinc Chromate and the Interior green Tamiya reccomends is very close, however adding some black (wwatch yourself though) really nails it

I have a document of unknown origin, in fact I had to retrieve it from the garbage, that has the following formula for USN Interior Green.

XF3 - Flat Yellow (2 parts) + XF5 - Flat Green (1 part).

Here's a link to a Tamiya paint chart - http://www.ipmsstockholm.org/colorcharts/stuff_eng_colorcharts_tamiya.htm

i take a pipett with 2 drops of tamiya flat green, about 10 or so drops of flat yellow, and dip my stir stick into flat black and let is drip until no more paint drips off the stick, then stir it into the green and yellow. you may have to tweak a little because i dont really keep up with the ratio's. i just eye ball it. so did the people in the field back in the day. later.
