Howdy chappies,
I'm pretty happy with myself, i just found the last 5 bottles of Grimy black perhaps in the world @ Turners Toys, and they are on their way to me now. There has got to be other places in the back alley type stores that would have some on their shelves and just don't move due to the wrong type of customer. If anyone comes across some please let me know.
I use it to replicate the rubber on modern armor. It has this slightly satin finish that i could not find with any other type of rubber coloured paint. I recon the closest to this has got to be the Vallejo panzer rubber grey although it's a bit darker. The Tamiya is to dark and really flat. The MM acrylic equivalent also called Grimy Black is way to dark and also to flat. I have searched long and hard and my eyes just about popped out when i got a return e-mail. If anyone uses an alternative i don't know about i would love to hear about it.
Cheers Leo
